"I got the pancakes here. These are the best pancakes I have ever had. I know the owners really well. So kind every time I come in they are always so nice and asking how I am doing. All the food is good here. They have tv's and they have counter seating. Great food. Another one of there restaurants is the oakdale diner this place is great too. Would recommend to everyone."

"Great restaurant under new ownership! We used to visit occasionally when it was the Pike Inn, and now as The Pitt Stop it's even better. The food was delicious, the space is clean, and parking is easy. We were actually served by one of the owners, who was very kind, helpful, and made great recommendations. She and her husband also own another restaurant, and you can tell they really care about making this place a success. It did feel like she was handling almost all of the tables herself, so having one more server would really make the experience smoother for everyone. That said, the service was still warm and genuine, and they're even open to stocking real 100% maple syrup--which I highly encouraged (and would happily pay extra for!). Overall, a wonderful local spot that we'll definitely be back to. Highly recommend giving it a try!"

"Came in from Houston Texas and brought our parents. Everything was delicious! We had meatloaf mashed potatoes, steak salad, burger and onion rings. All so authentic and homemade which is rare anywhere anymore. We loved it here and will be back. The service is also amazing here. 10/10!"

"We had such a nice lunch today. The food was great and the owner is so nice! She literally runs the front of the house all by herself all while keeping a smile on her face and making conversation with her patrons. Got a piece of cake to bring home and my goodness is it amazing. We will definitely be back!"

"Since they changed to The Pitt Stop, we figured we'd give it a try. I like the new look. It's definitely a diner vibe. The service was top-notch. The food was delicious. The price is reasonable. We will go back. Would like to try the pizza next time. The pizza oven was done due to air conditioning issues. I am sure they will have that fixed soon. We had a sampler app, cheese burger, steak hoagie, and fries. Yum!"

"Stopped in to the Pitt Stop today for Sunday breakfast. It was fabulous! The food is delicious, our server Adelya was charming. Wonderful family owned restaurant. Highly recommend. We'll definitely be back."

"What a change for the better. We figure we try this place after a bad experience 6 months ago. The food and service were great. I ordered the itilian hoagie with fries, and Mother got the sphegetti and meatballs. The hoagie was very good tasting. I just wish they had more lettuce on it, and the fries were good also. My mother definitely liked the sphegetti and said it was a definite improvement from last time. She also liked the 3 meatballs. The coffee was fresh and they gave you a bigger cup than before. The bad waitresses are gone too. We will definitely visit again. Visited again and got the fish sandwich and bacon cheeseburger. It was excellent. The fish sandwich is big and great tasting"
